ContactRelief Recommends Resuming Contact for Additional Texas Counties and Louisiana Parishes

ContactRelief recommends resuming contact with consumers in certain counties along the northern edge of the Texas the Harvey impact zone and certain parishes in Louisiana.

ContactRelief is making public a recommendation made to subscribers Wednesday, August 30th, to resume contact with consumers in additional Texas counties and Louisiana Parishes.

Contact should be resumed today for these Texas counties: Angelina, Bastrop, Caldwell, Houston, Trinity.

Contact should be resumed today for these Lousiana parishes: Assumption, Iberia, Jefferson, Lafourche, Plaquemines, St. Martin, St. Mary, Terrebonne.

A previous recommendation to suspended contact remains in force for Louisiana parishes: Acadia, Allen, Beauregard, Calcasieu, Cameron, Evangeline, Jefferson Davis, Lafayette, Rapides, St.Landry, Vermilion, and Vernon.

A previous recommendation to suspended contact remains in force for Texas counties: Aransas, Austin, Bee, Brazoria, Calhoun, Chambers, Colorado, DeWitt, Fayette, Fort Bend, Galveston, Goliad, Gonzales, Hardin, Harris, Jackson, Jasper, Jefferson, Lavaca, Liberty, Matagorda, Newton, Nueces, Orange, Polk, Refugio, San Patricio, Tyler, Victoria, Waller, and Wharton.

A previous recommendation to resume contact remains in force for Texas counties: Atascosa, Bexar, Brooks, Cameron, Comal, Duval, Guadalupe, Hays, Hidalgo, Jim Wells, Karnes, Kenedy, Kleberg, Live Oak, McMullen, Willacy, and Wilson.

As the recovery effort proceeds we will move from county wide suspensions to suspension based on Zip Codes as we analyze the wind damage and inundation data from flooding. This should allow us to better isolate the areas that flooded in and around rivers and other water sources.
